Abe FreemanOur associate pastor, Abe Freeman was born in Laramie, WY and raised all over the Midwest. Upon graduation from high school, he attended a year of community college before transferring to Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO. In Kansas City he was blessed to attend and serve at Mission Road Bible Church. God used his time in Bible College to prepare him for seminary and God graciously gave him a wife, Sydney, during his time there. Upon graduation from Calvary (‘14), Abe enrolled in The Expositors Seminary which shares a campus with Mission Road Bible Church. The kindness of God and his providence were demonstrated time and time again as Abe and Syd went through four more years of school and ministry at Mission Road Bible Church. God used this time to grow and strengthen their faith and marriage as well as establish relationships that would lead them to Countryside Bible Church in Hampton, NE. It was also during this time that God brought two children to their family, Oliver (‘15) and Elizabeth (‘17). God opened many doors and made it clear that Countryside was the place for them, so upon graduation from seminary (‘18), the Freeman family moved to Nebraska to begin serving at Countryside Bible Church. Some of their interests are: reading, basketball, playing with kids (especially theirs) and anything outdoors.
